Description

Dicotylophyllum sp. 3

Fig. 15 D

Material.

NHMW coll. Steinböck no. 7.

Description.

Leaf or leaflet simple, elliptic-obovate, lamina slightly asymmetrical, 80 mm long, 45 mm wide, base asymmetrical, primary venation pinnate, secondary venation craspedodromous to semicraspedodromous, margin toothed, teeth of different categories, larger and smaller teeth, sometimes compound.

Discussion.

The leaf is not well preserved; even lower-order venation details are difficult to observe and hence we are unable to assign it to a particular modern family or genus.
