The Munir Doctrine: Theological Completion and Civilizational Restitution in Pakistan's Army, 2022-2026

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Ahmed Shah's appointment as COAS (November 2022) and Pakistan's first Chief of Defence Forces (December 2025) represents the completion of a civilizational arc: Zia ul-Haq's Deobandization (Legitimacy Capture phase), Musharraf's hikmat phase, and Munir's theological institutionalization of the Iqbalian-Sufi vision.
