Intermediate Dissemination, Exploitation, and Communication Plan

Description

This document represents the second in a series of three iterations of the OSAwards.EU
dissemination, exploitation and communication plan. Like its predecessor, D7.1, it also serves as the
communication plan for the European Open Source Academy (EOSA).
The primary objective of WP7 is to promote and disseminate the project’s ambitions, ongoing
activities and key exploitable results (KERs) to strategic stakeholder groups. This is achieved through
content-rich communication campaigns and impactful engagement with media representatives,
aiming to expand the visibility and recognition of both EOSA and OSAwards beyond their core
audiences. During this reporting period, multiple integrated communication tools were
implemented and refined, maintaining strong coordination across all Work Packages.
This document, entitled “D7.2 First / Intermediate Dissemination, Exploitation, and Communication
Plan,” outlines the results and impact of dissemination and communication activities carried out
between May 2025 (M7) and April 2026 (M18). These efforts focused not only on increasing
engagement with media channels, but also on enhancing the visibility of preliminary KER results.
This was supported by the launch of new sections on the EOSA website and a redesigned
OSAwards.eu online space. The document also includes a preliminary overview of strategies for the
sustainability and exploitation of project KERs beyond the project’s duration.
This report will be followed by a third and final iteration, “D8.1 Final Dissemination, Exploitation,
and Communication Report,” scheduled for April 2027 (M30). This final report will provide a
comprehensive overview of OSAwards.eu KERs from a communication and dissemination
perspective, along with a finalised definition of their exploitation strategies.
The document is structured into the following sections, outlining the results achieved during this
reporting period:
• Section 1 provides an overview of OSAwards.eu stakeholders and identifies the KERs most
relevant to each group;
• Section 2 presents the communication and dissemination activities carried out in recent
months. It is structured around branding, communication channels, and specific campaigns,
in alignment with the framework introduced in D7.1;
• Section 3 offers a preliminary overview of the exploitation measures related to OSAwards.eu
results;
• Section 4 concludes the document and is followed by two appendices, which include detailed
information on press clippings and the Handbook on Communications and Outreach.
