Abstract
A set of quantitative phenomena in animal physiology cannot be fully explained by classical theories: human cranial nerves stably exhibit 12–14 pairs, and physiological cycles including tissue repair and reproductive rhythm consistently converge on 14-day and 28-day periodicities. Traditional evolutionary biology attributes these numerical features to natural selection and environmental adaptation, which only describes phenomena but fails to reveal inherent necessity. Based on the 14-Order Unified Field Theory (14FT), this study constructs a first-principle order-state model for animal physiology. It is demonstrated that neural structures and biological rhythms are not random evolutionary products but spatiotemporal projections of intrinsic 14-fold geometric symmetry of the tetradecahedral unit cell. Functionally reclassified cranial nerves form a strict 7+7 dual symmetric structure, which solidifies the 14-order symmetry in human neural anatomy. The 14-day basic rhythm and 28-day menstrual rhythm strictly conform to the harmonic formula \(T_k=14\times k\). Inter-specific rhythm divergence originates from order-state threshold differentiation. Human beings satisfy the critical thresholds of pathway integrity, phase synchronization, order-energy reserve and field coupling efficiency for 14-order harmonic locking, while rodents cannot reach such parameters and only maintain low-order short-period oscillations. This research corrects the conventional view that the 14-day rhythm is selected by evolution, and verifies that the number 14 is an inevitable convergent eigenvalue of order-state evolution. Organisms can only manifest pre-existing natural symmetry rather than generating it. The findings provide a novel geometric first-principle framework for animal physiology, chronobiology and neuroanatomy.
