The dataset supports the analyses and figures presented in the paper. It is intended to be used with the MATLAB scripts.
Usage Notes
The OUTPUT directory contains subfolders for the three study domains: Merced, Aspen, and Gunnison-East.
Within each study-domain folder, the reanalysis outputs (prior/posterior snow water equivalent (SWE) and snow depth (SD)) are organized into separate subfolders corresponding to different meteorological forcing configurations:
- Single-forcing simulations use one forcing product:
ERA5,MERRA2, orNLDAS2. - Multi-forcing simulations use different weighting strategies and are identified by folder names containing
mixed_*_weight*.
Each reanalysis-output folder name also includes the lower-left corner coordinates of the model tile or tiles covering the study domain, expressed as latitude north and longitude west.
The string agg_5 indicates that the model output has a spatial resolution of 30 × 5 = 150 m.
To use the dataset, download the archive and unzip it before running the MATLAB scripts.
