Quantum Computing: A New Technology or Just Another Algorithm for AI Tools

The link between AI & QC has been of much discussion within both academia & business circles. Is this the beginning of a new era of computing, or is QC merely a way to enhance AI as another tool? In this article, we will explore many facets, including the "DNA" of the QUBIT, the new structure of Quantum Machine Learning (QML), and some of the current hurdles preventing our growth. Through an examination of many of the latest examples, such as Google's 2025 "Willow" chip & evolving hybrid "generative quantum advantage", we will demonstrate that QC is much more than just an accessory to AI; it provides an opportunity for a fundamental shift in how we handle information & leads to solutions to problems that would typically take centuries for classical supercomputers to address.
