LANGUAGE AND CULTURE. CROSSROADS OF CULTURES
Authors/Creators
Description
This article examines the relationship between language and culture in the context of intercultural interaction. The author explores the phenomenon of the "crossroads of cultures"-a space in which different linguistic and cultural systems engage in dialogue, mutually enrich each other, and profoundly influence each other. Theoretical approaches to the study of language as a mirror of culture are analyzed, and the concepts of the linguistic worldview, cultural concepts, and intercultural communication are explored. Particular attention is paid to the role of Russian as a language of interethnic communication in the post-Soviet space and its function in the dialogue of cultures. The article has practical significance for teachers of Russian in a multilingual environment.
