Description

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought about a paradigm shift in the world of marketing by allowing firms to
automate customer communication, customize communications, analyze customer behavior, and fine-tune
marketing strategies. On the other hand, increasing awareness about environmental issues and calls for
Sustainable business models have seen the inclusion of sustainability in marketing operations by organizations.
Sustainable marketing can be described as the production and marketing of goods and services that satisfy
consumer needs without compromising the environment, society, and economy for future generations.
Further, there is an analysis of case studies of some firms like Amazon, Unilever, Tesla, and Patagonia, which
have combined their AI-based approaches with their sustainable marketing initiatives. This study reveals that
AI, when employed in a responsible and ethical way, can make a substantial contribution to the success of
sustainable businesses. It is concluded from this research that AI and sustainable marketing should complement
each other.
