Automated Penetration Testing Framework Using Kali Linux: A Comprehensive Study on Network Security Assessment Automation
Authors/Creators
Description
This research presents a comprehensive automated penetration testing framework that integrates multiple Kali Linux security tools to streamline cybersecurity assessments. Traditional penetration testing is time-consuming and resource-intensive, often relying on manual expert intervention. Our framework addresses these limitations by automating vulnerability discovery, network reconnaissance, and exploitation analysis while maintaining high detection accuracy. Through intelligent vulnerability correlation and deduplication mechanisms, we achieve a 92% detection rate for known vulnerabilities while reducing assessment time by 65% compared to manual testing. The framework employs a modular architecture enabling easy adaptation to different organizational contexts. This work contributes to advancing automated security assessment methodologies while maintaining ethical and legal compliance standards, making comprehensive security testing accessible and affordable for organizations of all sizes.
