MATLAB code and the processed per-profile data table for a study of mixed layer depth criterion sensitivity and barrier layer structure in the North Indian Ocean, using Argo profiles.

Contents:

• process_argo_mld.m — reads Argo *_prof.nc files, applies quality control, and computes per-profile mixed layer depth (multiple density and temperature criteria), isothermal layer depth, and barrier layer thickness.
• make_figures_nio_mld.m — reads the processed per-profile table and generates all figures and the error-metrics table.
• nio_mld_profiles.xlsx — the processed per-profile table that underlies every figure and number; the figure script regenerates all figures and tables from this file.

Density computed using the Gibbs SeaWater (TEOS-10) toolbox. Raw Argo data are publicly available from the Argo Global Data Assembly Centre and are not redistributed here.
