Pre-Supernova Neutrino Triggering as Quickest Change Detection: Anytime-Valid, Background-Robust Alert Statistic (analysis pipeline)

Authors/Creators

Description

Reproducibility pipeline for the paper recasting pre-supernova neutrino triggering as a quickest change-detection problem. Loads SNEWPY pre-SN models, folds to an inverse-beta-decay rate on a JUNO-like monitor (ΔT = 60 s, 48-hour window), and provides an anytime-valid false-alarm guarantee via a background reference channel: the live monitoring stream is compared against a pre-alert control period of equal duration, so the shared non-stationary background cancels and false-alarm control follows from Ville's inequality with no calibration. The package verifies the e-process control and detection over nine SNEWPY model×mass combinations, includes a classical fixed-threshold trigger for comparison (showing its false-alarm inflation under reactor-like drift and step), and regenerates every figure from cached JSON.
