PCS-M + GET is a predictive intelligence platform designed to accelerate the development, commercialization, and optimization of biomass-derived carbon materials.
Current biomass carbon products are typically described using broad classifications such as "biochar," "wood biochar," or "corn stover biochar." These labels fail to capture the substantial variation introduced by feedstock genetics, plant anatomy, mineral composition, processing conditions, and post-processing treatments.
As a result, researchers, producers, regulators, and end users often lack the information necessary to reliably predict material performance, compare datasets, identify optimal applications, or scale production systems.
PCS-M + GET addresses this challenge by creating a standardized descriptor framework and predictive materials database that links:
Feedstock → Processing Conditions → Material Properties → Performance Metrics → Commercial Applications
The long-term vision is to develop a web-based decision support platform capable of predicting the most promising applications for biomass-derived carbon materials before extensive testing is performed.
Rather than treating biochar as a single product category, PCS-M + GET treats biomass-derived carbons as a diverse family of engineered materials whose performance can be predicted through structured data, characterization, and machine learning.
