The Global Virome in One Network (VIRION): Data Package
Description
This deposit contains a dynamically maintained database of vertebrate-virus associations.
The VIRION database has been assembled through both reconciliation
of static data sets and integration of dynamically updated databases.
These data sources are all harmonized against one taxonomic backbone,
including metadata on host and virus taxonomic validity and higher
classification; additional metadata on sampling methodology and
evidence strength are also available in a harmonized format.
Data Products:
1) virion.csv.gz - Virion dataset. All other data products are derived
from Virion.
2) ncbi_accession.csv.gz - NCBI Accession numbers for virion associations. Linked via AssocID.
3) db_table.csv - Databases used to compile virion. Linked via DatabaseVersion.
4) tax_table.csv.gz - Taxa information for virion. Linked via HashTaxID to HostHashTaxID or VirusHashTaxID.
