Dataset for: Knowledge structure and research trends of the water–energy–carbon nexus in buildings for decarbonization pathways

This dataset accompanies the article "Knowledge structure and research trends of the water–energy–carbon nexus in buildings for decarbonization pathways." The dataset contains the merged bibliographic records used for the bibliometric analysis, together with the search strategy and supporting documentation. The data were retrieved from the Scopus and Web of Science databases and analysed using CiteSpace, VOSviewer, and Biblioshiny (bibliometrix) to examine the intellectual structure, thematic evolution, and emerging research trends in water–energy–carbon nexus research within the built environment.
