FungalMorphoSpace: A reaction-diffusion simulator for exploring fungal hymenophore morphogenesis

Open-source Python package for simulating Gierer-Meinhardt reaction-diffusion patterns of fungal hymenophores and quantifying them with a morphometric and topological analysis suite (FFT/autocorrelation wavelength with quality control, Euler characteristic, connected-component spacing). Includes calibrated presets for three polypore species, a contract-enforced reproducible output schema, and a three-node (immobile-node) module with an analytical linear-stability utility. Released to accompany the SoftwareX submission.
