Lviv Academic Bridge 2026: Catalogue of Ukrainian Research, Education, and Innovation Projects

This catalogue presents 53 Ukrainian research, education, and innovation projects that are open to international cooperation, with a particular interest in partnership with U.S. universities, research institutions, foundations, companies, and civil-society organizations. It has been prepared for the Lviv Academic Bridge 2026: Ukraine–U.S. Science & Education Forum.

The projects span the full range of maturity, from early concept to active implementation, and cover the forum's priority areas: health and medical recovery; digital transformation and artificial intelligence; science and technology for reconstruction and resilience; research infrastructure and open science; education and human capital; cooperation with the Ukrainian professional diaspora; and the humanities and Ukrainian studies.

Each project is presented with a consistent profile: its goal and summary, current status and results to date, the specific expertise, data, infrastructure, or networks the Ukrainian team contributes, and the concrete form of cooperation it seeks. Forms of cooperation requested include joint research, co-funded research positions, shared access to laboratories and data, joint grant applications, curriculum and professional development, and technology partnership. A number of projects already hold international ties that a new partnership can build on.
