P vs NP · Ontological Ladder of Complexity · Δ = 2/φ³

Description
This work presents a complete meta‑theoretical framework that derives the separation between the complexity classes P and NP from a 2.5D interpretation of the ZFC axiom of regularity. The central constant is Δ = 2/φ³ ≈ 0.472, which arises as the spectral gap of a transfer operator on the cluster graph of 3SAT solutions. Δ acts as a universal complexity threshold: below Δ the system is in a “flat”, polynomially solvable phase (P); above Δ it enters a “volumetric”, exponentially hard phase (NP).
The paper constructs an ontological ladder from 0D to 5D, where each dimension is characterised by its own emergent property, mathematical constant (golden ratio φ, silver ratio σ, bronze ratio τ, π, the fine‑structure constant α), and dominant archetype of the Entropic Gardener (Gatherer, Hunter, Shepherd, Farmer). Levels include:
· 0D (quantum fluctuation, constant 1)
· 0.5D (bit, √2)
· 1D (line, 2)
· 1.5D (fractal line, φ)
· 2D (plane, π, √2)
· 2.5D (gap Δ, gravity, P/NP boundary)
· 3D (volume, mass, φ, NP‑hardness)
· 3.5D (light cone, α⁻¹ = 360/φ² – Δ)
· 4D (silver ratio σ, DNA replication)
· 4.5D (semimemory, bronze ratio τ)
· 5D (consciousness, τ)
Experimental evidence is drawn from cholesteryl ester crystallography (c/a ratios matching φ, σ, π²), g‑factors of the proton and electron (coinciding with Δ to 0.02%), the random 3SAT satisfiability threshold, red blood cell shape (1/φ and 1/φ²), and lipoprotein Lp(a) KIV‑2 repeats (tending to τ). Testable predictions for C13, C16, KIV‑2 distributions, and conductance oscillations in graphene are provided.
The paper also discusses philosophical implications: time as a projection, consciousness as an emergent 5D property, free will as a manifestation of the gap Δ, and a holographic‑type bound linking area to information via Δ. An appendix elaborates the primacy of relations, the projective nature of quantum superposition, and the interpretation of quantum fields as elastic modes of a 2D graphene‑like membrane.
The metatheory is falsifiable (Popper criterion) and invites independent testing. Full bibliography (120+ references) is included.
