VerifyRX UK: A Multi-Modal Verification Tool for Detecting Illegal Online Pharmacies

VerifyRX UK is an open-source, browser-delivered tool that lets a UK consumer verify a suspicious pharmacy interaction across three modalities (URL reputation, SMS text, packaging photograph) and returns a calibrated, explainable verdict. It combines a fine-tuned DistilBERT classifier, a fine-tuned ResNet-18, and a rule-based URL scorer with per-modality explainability via LIME and Grad-CAM.
