The software supports markdown, PDF and JSON outputs, optional LLM-assisted enrichment, scheduled execution using GitHub Actions, and optional email distribution.

ID & GIM Weekly Literature Digest is an automated literature surveillance workflow for infectious diseases and acute/general medicine. It retrieves recent PubMed records, applies configurable prioritisation rules, and generates weekly digest outputs in markdown, PDF and JSON formats. The workflow supports optional LLM-assisted enrichment, scheduled execution using GitHub Actions, and optional email distribution.

The software is intended to support literature surveillance, journal clubs, clinical education and research workflow development. It is not a systematic review, clinical guideline, medical device, or substitute for expert clinical appraisal.
