This document is the official Romanian translation of the open letter “Mechanochemistry in Europe: where we come from and where we are now” (Open Research Europe, 2025, 5:73, DOI: 10.12688/openreseurope.19848.1).

The translation was curated by Ede Bodoki and Marieta Mureșan‑Pop, member delegates of the Romanian Chemical Society within the EuChemS Professional Network on Mechanochemistry.

The translated version preserves the structure, layout, figures, author list, author roles, funding information, and licensing terms of the original article.

This Romanian edition is published under the same Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license as the original work.
