Description
Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is the most common chronic liver disorder
worldwide, strongly associated with obesity, insulin resistance, and metabolic
syndrome. The disease ranges from simple steatosis to nonalcoholic steatohepatitis
(NASH), fibrosis, and cirrhosis. This study evaluates clinical, laboratory, and
instrumental findings in patients with NAFLD and assesses metabolic risk factors
associated with disease severity.
