The Voynich Manuscript: An Arabic Origin Theory — Visual Comparison Research by ST911

This work presents an independent visual‑comparison study examining structural, botanical, and cosmological parallels between the Voynich Manuscript and historical Arabic manuscript traditions. 

The analysis focuses on page layout, plant morphology, diagram structures, and symbolic patterns, highlighting visual features that align more closely with Arabic scientific and cosmological manuscripts than with European sources.  

The study is based on direct visual examination of publicly available manuscript images. No external datasets, computational models, or proprietary materials were used.

This research represents the first stage of an ongoing comparative manuscript project by ST911, offering an alternative perspective within Voynich studies by emphasizing under‑explored connections with Arabic manuscript heritage.Companion paper: DOI 10.5281/zenodo.20690282
