هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن تأثير الاحتلال الإسرائيلي على عمل الأجهزة الأمنية الفلسطينية في منع الجريمة، اعتمد الباحثان على منهج دراسة الحالة مستعيناً بمقاربة إنفاذ القانون. وحيث أن الدراسة تتنتمي للدراسة النوعية فقد تم استخدام المقابلة المعمقة لجمع البيانات، ولتحليل المقابلات اعتمد نموذج التفسير. وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى أن هناك تأثير سلبي للاحتلال الإسرائيلي على قدرة الأجهزة الأمنية الفلسطينية في إنفاذ القانون حتى يمنعوا الجريمة يتمثل هذا التأثير بقلة التواجد للأجهزة الأمنية في ضواحي القدس الشرقية بسبب التنسيق مع الاحتلال. ان من أهم التوصيات لصناع القرار في الأجهزة الأمنية أن يعملوا على زيادة عدد العاملين في الأجهزة الأمنية، كذلك إجراء دراسات متعلقة بمقاربات أخرى لم يتم دراستها. Abstract: This study aimed to reveal the impact of the Israeli occupation on the work of the Palestinian security apparatus in preventing crime. The researchers adopted the case study method, employing a law enforcement approach. As the study falls within qualitative research, in-depth interviews were used to collect data, and the interpretive model was adopted for analyzing the interviews.The study concluded that the Israeli occupation has a negative impact on the ability of the Palestinian security forces to enforce the law and prevent crime. This impact is reflected in the limited presence of security forces in the suburbs of East Jerusalem due to coordination with the occupation.
