Yrong-Guo/Hierarchical-surface-registration: Release accompanying the MSM-HT manuscript
Authors/Creators
Description
This repository contains the implementation and analysis code of MSM-HT. MSM-HT hierarchically aligns individual subjects from HCP-YA, starting with the most similar hemispheres first and gradually merging towards a common space for population-level analyses. For each of the frontal, parietal, and temporal lobe regions, MSM-HT thresholds the dendrogram when cluster assignments are consistent, and generates the corresponding motif templates. Aligning these motifs in the common space enables downstream analyses of hemispheric asymmetry, folding-functional links, and generalisation across age groups.
This release corresponds to the version of the code used in the associated manuscript (Guo et al., 2026). Citation details will be updated upon publication. This framework builds on Deep-Discrete spherical Registration (DDR) and the new version of Multimodal Surface Matching (newMSM).
