Description

Background: Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is an aggressive subtype associated with poor prognosis and limited therapeutic options. Pathological complete response (pCR) following neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) is a major surrogate marker of favorable outcomes. Identifying predictive factors of pCR is particularly important in low- and middle-income countries where access to innovative therapies remains limited. Methods: We conducted a retrospective monocentric observational study at Hassan II University Hospital in Fez, Morocco, including patients with TNBC treated with NACT followed by surgery between January 2017 and January 2023. Clinical, pathological, and therapeutic variables associated with pCR were analyzed using univariate statistics (Chi-square, Fisher’s exact, Mann-Whitney U tests).
