WATERUN Final Data management plan

Description

The WATERUN Data Management Plan (DMP) has been developed to ensure the proper management, documentation, storage, sharing and preservation of data generated throughout the project, in accordance with Horizon Europe requirements and Open Science principles.

The DMP is a living document that has been progressively updated during the project lifecycle through three successive versions (D6.2, D6.3 and D6.4). It provides an overview of the datasets, research outputs and associated metadata produced within WATERUN, as well as guidance on data accessibility, ownership, licensing, storage, security and long-term preservation.

The DMP supports the implementation of FAIR data principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable) and contributes to the project's dissemination, exploitation and knowledge valorisation objectives. Depending on their nature and access conditions, datasets are either made publicly available through Zenodo or stored in the project's internal SharePoint repository when access restrictions apply.

To facilitate data discoverability and reuse, project partners have completed metadata sheets describing the datasets, publications, tools and other research outputs generated within WATERUN. These metadata records are referenced and consolidated within the DMP and constitute an integral part of the project's data governance framework.
