Description
Unedited footage capturing a pulsating light that was documented on September 19, 2023.
This video documents a light in question that (1) appeared out of nowhere, (2) underwent a distinct pulsating sequence, and (3) disappeared completely.
This video is the first of three similar videos captured between 2023-2024 as part of an ongoing independent research project. As of 2026, computational photometric analysis is being performed on the raw files, which contain in-frame controls (a house light/outdoor lamp and a streetlight) for thorough comparison.
Notable features in the video include 2 identifiable stars that serve as reference points for size comparison. The light in question is visibly much larger than the stars.
Computational photometric testing so far seems to indicate that the light in question has a photometric signature distinct from the in-frame controls (house light/streetlight). Further photometric analysis is underway to authenticate and to further study as many photometric characteristics of this light as possible.
