This record contains the raw data and the complete analysis code underlying [Zhu et al., 2026], which tests whether near-infrared (NIR) hyperspectral imaging of the fish eye can serve as a non-destructive proxy for systemic fatty acid status in largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides).
