OPPORTUNITIES AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE MINING INDUSTRY IN THE CONTEXT OF THE DIGITALIZATION OF THE ECONOMY AND FINANCE OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

The rapid digitalization of economic and financial systems is transforming traditional industries and creating new opportunities for sustainable growth and increased competitiveness. The mining industry, as one of the strategic sectors of the Republic of Uzbekistan, is increasingly influenced by digital technologies that improve operational efficiency, financial management, resource utilization, and investment attractiveness. This study examines the opportunities and development prospects of the mining industry in the context of the digitalization of the economy and finance of Uzbekistan. Particular attention is paid to the role of digital transformation in enhancing production processes, implementing innovative technologies, improving financial transparency, and attracting domestic and foreign investments. The research also analyzes the impact of digital financial instruments, automation systems, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and modern information technologies on the competitiveness of mining enterprises. The findings indicate that digitalization contributes to increased productivity, reduced operational costs, improved risk management, and greater integration of mining organizations into global markets. The study highlights the importance of continued digital reforms and technological modernization for ensuring the long-term sustainable development of Uzbekistan’s mining sector.
