Description
In the modern fast-paced world, individuals are increasingly exposed to stress, digital overload, and declining mental well-being. Mindfulness has emerged as an effective approach to improve psychological health and overall quality of life. The present study examines the importance of mindfulness in daily life, focusing on its role in stress reduction, emotional regulation, and cognitive performance.
Mindfulness, defined as present-moment awareness without judgment, is widely used in healthcare, education, and workplace settings. The study explores how daily practices such as mindful breathing, meditation, and conscious awareness help in reducing stress, improving emotional balance, and enhancing mental clarity.
The research is based on primary data collected from 200 participants, including students and working individuals, using a structured questionnaire. Standardized tools such as the Mindful Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS) and Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) were used to ensure validity
The findings indicate that regular mindfulness practice leads to lower stress levels, better emotional control, and improved cognitive functioning. The study concludes that mindfulness is not only a therapeutic technique but also an essential life skill for promoting long-term wellbeing and a balanced lifestyle.
