This upload contains the preliminary Proof of Concept (PoC) documentation for a hardened timing synchronization framework designed for Magneto-Inertial Fusion (MIF) propulsion cores. The research addresses the challenge of maintaining deterministic ignition timing (< 0.05 ms jitter) under high-transient flight regimes, specifically focusing on mitigating telemetry latency, thermal cavitation, and kinetic shock displacements.

 

The architecture utilizes a model-based Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) for state-space trajectory projection and integrates active magneto-rheological (MR) dampening to stabilize ignition sequential integrity.

 

Content Overview:

 

Engineering Design Record (EDR-AN-MIF-2026-PoC-01): Technical documentation covering the proposed synchronization logic and physical mitigation strategies.

 

Simulation Logic: Python-based state-space modeling scripts used to validate ignition performance under 8.0 G kinetic shock profiles.

 

Scope & Limitations: This research is provided as a completed PoC study for the benefit of the aerospace and fusion research community.
