Circular economy in European cities and regions: focus group inputs from local and regional authorities on twelve thematic priorities

This dataset captures the structured inputs gathered from practitioners of European local and regional public authorities during three identical online Focus Group Discussions organised by ICLEI Europe between 26 November and 4 December 2024, in the framework of Task 2.1 (Scoping and needs assessment) of the CCRI Communities of Practice project. Participants shared challenges, current practices and recommendations across twelve circular economy topics, plus preferences on the setting of the Communities of Practice and additional ('missing') themes. The data informed the prioritisation and shaping of the first CCRI Communities of Practice. Contributions are anonymised to country and authority type to protect participant privacy.
