Human Eye-Region and Pupil Segmentation Dataset for MEYELens
Authors/Creators
Description
This dataset contains human eye images with pixel-level segmentation masks for the pupil and eye-region. Here, eye-region refers to the visible eye area including the pupil, iris, and sclera. The dataset was prepared as part of the MEYELens project, an open-source platform for accessible pupillometry and eye-based measurement: meyelens.com
The dataset includes 4,895 RGB JPEG images at 640 × 480 resolution and corresponding RGB PNG segmentation masks. In the masks, the red channel encodes the pupil region and the green channel encodes the eye-region mask. The dataset also includes an annotations.csv file with image-level metadata, ROI information, subject/source identifiers, and mask area measurements.
The dataset is intended for training and evaluating computer-vision models for pupil segmentation, eye-region segmentation, pupillometry, and related eye-tracking workflows.
