The Sealed Room: Ibn Taymiyyah's Jurisprudential Architecture of Ba'alist Capture
Description
An analysis of the Abbasid-Mamluk construction of a juridical immune system through the asymmetric application of Ijtihad (immunizing state foundational violence) and Bid'ah (prosecuting the authentic tradition's memory of harm). Ibn Taymiyyah's Minhaj as-Sunnah is read as the formal doctrinal manual of Ba'alist Capture. The criminalization of Karbala mourning analyzed as political suppression of testimony. Downstream lineage through Wahhabism to Cold War Deoband documented. SCRA Working Paper 07. Published at https://alvidscriptorium.com/research/sealed-room/
