The Indus Thesis: Iqbal's Persian Synthesis and the Ba'alist Capture of Pakistan's Foundational Ideology
Description
A political-ideological analysis establishing that Pakistan's authentic foundational ideology was Iqbalian — rooted in the Khorasan-Persian synthesis, expressed through the Chishti-Sufi tradition of the Indus basin, and politically articulated in the 1930 Allahabad Address. The post-1977 Deobandi-Wahhabi transformation is analyzed as a Type III Ba'alist Capture. Seven Attributes of Batil applied to the post-1977 formation. SCRA Working Paper 06.
