This article investigates the sociolinguistic aspects of emotional expression in English and Uzbek languages, focusing on how cultural norms influence linguistic realization of emotions. Language functions not only as a communicative tool but also as a reflection of cultural values, social hierarchy, and interpersonal relations. The study analyzes emotional vocabulary, metaphorical structures, and pragmatic strategies in both languages, revealing significant cross-cultural differences.
