The Gravitational Potential Response Framework paper 1, v1.0.1
This work contains the preprint of GPRF Paper I. The Gravitational Potential Response Framework proposes that a linear constitutive relation between an induced non-baryonic density and the local gravitational potential depth, combined with the standard Newtonian Poisson operator, produces a screened Poisson equation with a Yukawa exterior solution. From this simple relation, the following emerge naturally:
- The deep-MOND 1/r scaling.
- The baryonic Tully-Fisher relation.
- The recently discovered outer halo cutoff of the Milky Way rotation curve.
All three emerge from a single coupling constant anchored to the BTFR normalization, with no modification to the gravitational operator required.
This is the first paper in a series. GPRF II will address relativistic phenomena, gravitational lensing, and cluster-scale extensions.
