Perceived Urgency of Vibrotactile Patterns on the Back
Authors/Creators
Description
Abstract: This study compares perceived urgency and discernability of vibrotac-tile patterns on the back across three motor activation modes (slow sequential, fast sequential, simultaneous), with and without cognitive load. Results show that slow activation yields higher perceived urgency compared to fast activation, while both yield higher pattern recognition rates than simultaneous activation.
