Description
This article examines the assessment of environmental risk indicators in solar and wind power plant projects under the conditions of Uzbekistan. Although renewable energy projects are environmentally preferable to conventional energy sources, they may generate risks related to land use, biodiversity, dust formation, noise, technological failures, waste management and insufficient environmental monitoring during planning, siting, operation and technical management stages. The article proposes methodological directions for assessing environmental risks based on probability, impact level, environmental sensitivity and controllability indicators. The findings are important for improving environmental safety and project management efficiency in solar and wind energy projects.
