Description
The dataset corresponds to the 11 binary-evolution calculations presented in the paper "On the effective spin-mass ratio relation of binary black hole mergers that evolved in isolation" by Sambaran Banerjee and Aleksandra Olejak (arXiv:2411.15112). Each model is run with six different metallicities, so there are 66 folders in total. In each folder, the file 'mergerlist0.dat' contains the list of compact-binary GW mergers for the corresponding metallicity and binary-evolution model. See the Jupyter Notebook inside the parent directory for the details. The dict in the beginning of the notebook serves as a guide to which folder contains which model(s).
To obtain the dataset, simply download the tarball and unpack it. The unpacked root folder is 'BSE_share_zenodo', which contains the entire folder hierarchy (~7 GB).
