Ten years of DataverseNL: Lessons Learned and Future Directions

DataverseNL has been in operation for ten years and is now an established national research data repository service. Over this period, the service has grown while also having to respond to changes in technical developments, research practices, and policy expectations. This poster reflects on what has been learned from operating DataverseNL over a longer period of time and look ahead to where the service is heading. Rather than presenting a full overview, the poster has a focus on a few lessons that have proven important in practice. Experience has shown that many challenges only become visible once a service moves beyond the initial implementation phase and into sustained operation.
