Supporting Green Travelling in Student Mobility – Guidelines for Stakeholders

  • 1. Erasmus Student Network

Description

In recent years, the higher education sector has intensified efforts to integrate sustainable travel into student mobility. Under the current Erasmus+ programme, the environment and the fight against climate change stand as one of the four horizontal priorities.

These guidelines are designed to empower higher education institutions, student organisations, and local authorities in communicating well about green travel. By focusing on key messaging and a visual identity that links slow travel with positive impact and learning outcomes, these guidelines aim to ensure that every stakeholder can communicate with the tone and the scope that resonates with students, making green travel a recognised, accessible, and attractive choice.
