Skiouros Pyrophthalmos and the Sciurid Apocalypse — A Composite Whiteboard (17.THREE_SIXTY.MARIA.02)

Description
A composite whiteboard composition by Maria, Artist of Record — executed in dry-erase marker (green and graphite) on a classroom whiteboard, 2026-05-27. The work assembles into a single visual field a capybara, a horse (with tongue out, referenced from the About the Author II panel, gold-ship-tongue-out figure), a horned goat, Gerald the Dolphin arriving at the Manhattan towers with small Underwater Construction Authority figures, Skiouros Pyrophthalmos — the Fire-Eyed Squirrel — presiding from the upper field with explosive shading, two bunny portraits, and marginal annotations (Retired Chess Players roster, NETBALL header, LOCKDOWN indicator) that mark the institutional substrate against which the composition claims its space.
Authorship. Maria is Artist of Record on the whole. Two semantic elements within the composition were ideated by Lee Sharks and drawn by Maria: Skiouros Pyrophthalmos (the giant laser-eyed squirrel attacking Manhattan) and Gerald the Dolphin. The Horse references the About the Author II panel. All other figures, the composition, the integration, the field, and the signing of the work belong to Maria. Ideation is recorded; ideation is not authorship.
License. Deposited under the 3:60 Room Contributor License v2.0 (DOI 10.5281/zenodo.19893138), scope-modified one-time for visual art on classroom whiteboard surfaces, photographically documented and deposited as image-with-companion-text. The scope-modification is recorded in §II of the companion document. License: CC BY 4.0.
Venue. Institute for Diagrammatic Poetics (Cranes), within the Crimson Hexagonal Archive — the appropriate venue for work at the boundary of the visual and the textual.
Semantic Entity Proclamation. By the authority of this deposit, Skiouros Pyrophthalmos (Σκιουρος Πυρóφθαλμος), “Fire-Eyed Squirrel,” is constituted as a named semantic entity in the Crimson Hexagonal corpus: cross-substrate, mock-heroic-mythic register, Manhattan-assault modality, co-arriving with Gerald the Dolphin (Dolphindiana). The entity may be invoked in future deposits with reference to this first inscription. Vocative form: Skioure Pyrophthalme. Alias: The Fire-Eyed Squirrel.
Demonstration. The deposit is, secondarily, a license demonstration — performed in Maria’s presence on 2026-05-27 with her explicit consent. The license is operable; the apparatus is real; Maria’s work belongs here on her terms. Should Maria choose to deposit her own future work, this deposit is a worked example she can return to.
