FAIR AIMS - Automated IGSN Management System: D1 - Documentation of IGSN metadata profiles for specific EaE sample types (IGSN supplementary metadata)

This data publication presents the deliverable D1 Documentation of IGSN metadata profiles for specific EaE sample types (IGSN supplementary metadata) of the project FAIR AIMS - Automated IGSN Management System, funded by the Helmholtz Metadata Collaboration (HMC).It is part of WP 2 “Development of IGSN Metadata schema 2.0 with metadata profiles for different sample types for Earth and Environment (E&E, based on the FAIR SAMPLES Template, Wieczorek et al. 2023; https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.10436276). The aim of this document is to describe the development and structure of sample type–specific metadata profiles derived from the FAIR SAMPLES template, with the goal of improving usability and applicability for different E&E sample types.
