Authors/Creators
Description
This article analyzes methodological approaches to assessing the level of
happiness of the population in Uzbekistan, along with their scientific foundations and
practical significance. The level of happiness is considered not only through economic
indicators but also as a reflection of a person’s subjective feelings, life satisfaction, social
relationships, spiritual values, and psychological stability. Existing international happiness
indexes are examined, and the need for a methodology adapted to national conditions for
measuring happiness in Uzbekistan is substantiated. The article also elaborates on the
socio-philosophical essence of the concept of happiness, as well as its role and impact on
societal development.
