Resampling in Importance Splitting Rare Event Simulation: n-th Time's the Charm (experimental reproduction package)
Authors/Creators
Description
Artifact to reproduce the experimental results presented in the article "Resampling on importance splitting rare event simulation: n-th time's the charm" by Carlos E. Budde, Laura Carnevali, adn Gabriel Dengler (ISoLA 2026).
The contents include all data and software (formal models, software tools, Python & bash scripts) used in the experimental evaluation presented in section 4 of the article. These contents are offered in two formats:
- The minimal artifact ("experimental reproduction package"), as the artifact_RESampling.tar.xz archive,
- this requires users to (minimally) set up their Linux system to be able to reproduce experiments;
- A standalone VM, as the artifact_RESampling.ova appliance,
- this can be directly loaded into VirtualBox for experimental reproduction in any host system (even Windows!).
Detailed instructions on how to reproduce the results of the artifact are available as READMEs here, and also bundled inside the artifact files.
