Metricity as Licensed Description: The L-Metric Boundary and the Realized Physical Interior
This manuscript develops the L-metric boundary as the admissibility-to-metric-description interface within the Admissibility And Standing Constraint (AASC) framework. The central result is that metric structure is not primitive boundary authority: distance, duration, locality, propagation, curvature, scale, and metric-dependent parameters become lawful only as licensed interior descriptors within a non-degenerate target regime.
AASC is treated as a constraint formalism rather than a generative dynamics. In any non-degenerate regime with stable target reference, identity-preserving reuse, irreversible commitment, standing-bearing continuation, and admissible transformation, the AASC kernel is instantiated by necessity. From that kernel, the AMetric boundary excludes primitive metric, selector, carrier, operator, repair, hidden-remainder, and scope-transport authority at the boundary. The L-metric boundary is then derived as the local projection interface at which metric descriptors may become physically interpretable without becoming self-authorizing.
The proof proceeds by fixed-domain exhaustion. A multivalued exhaustion classifier assigns every admissibility-relevant variation to terminal dispositions such as equivalence, scope change, selector dependence, carrier dependence, operator dependence, repair dependence, undeclared hidden remainder, boundary mutation, inert skin, or fail-closed collapse. The central theorem is therefore refuted only by denial of target-regime instantiation, a kernel-breaking regime, an unclassified faithful same-regime survivor, or demonstrated misclassification.
The manuscript includes independent physics-bound audits illustrating the theorem’s classification behavior:
- Lorentzian interval comparison: metric comparison requires standing-positive relata.
- Zero-point vacuum energy: non-invariant offsets fail standalone prediction status unless they descend to the appropriate quotient.
- Standard Model structural licensing: structural standing is distinct from full numerical parameter-table closure.
- Cosmological transport closure: cross-regime metric comparison requires explicit transport closure.
- Entanglement/no-channel structure: joint standing does not supply a controllable boundary communication channel.
These audits are applications of the L-metric theorem, not premises of it. The paper does not derive GR or QM dynamics, does not derive the full Standard Model parameter table, does not resolve the cosmological-constant problem, does not adjudicate unrestricted ΛCDM model selection, and does not derive Hilbert-space no-signaling. Its contribution is the target-typed boundary theorem: metric structure is not denied; it is located. Metricity belongs to the licensed physical interior, not to the boundary authority that licenses its own use.
