Description

This upload contains five LabDCT datasets in GrainMapper3D Result File format (HDF5), accompanying the paper Time-Resolved 4D Characterisation of an Abnormal Grain Growth Event in Pure Iron submitted to the conference proceedings of the 46th International Risø Symposium on Characterization of evolving microstructures in metals, 7-11 September 2026.

After unzipping the files, they can be read in the GrainMapper3D viewer or in Python using the gm3dh5 package. Note that the files are highly compressed and will each unzip to an HDF5 file of about 11.8 GB.
