ARCHITECTURE OF ADAPTIVE WEB PLATFORMS FOR MATERIAL MANAGEMENT IN MANUFACTURING COMPANIES: SCALABILITY, MODULARITY, AND INTEGRATION
Description
The article examines engineering approaches to the design of adaptive distributed web platforms for material management in manufacturing companies within the context of industrial digital transformation. The limitations of monolithic architectures are analyzed, and the rationale for transitioning to service-oriented models based on API Gateway, Backend-for-Frontend, and event-driven backend patterns is substantiated. Quantitative load-testing results and practical examples of integration with corporate ERP systems are presented. Particular attention is given to scalability, fault tolerance, master data governance, and consistency maintenance in distributed environments. It is demonstrated that the adoption of hybrid integration models and centralized validation mechanisms establishes the foundation for a resilient enterprise digital ecosystem and enhances transparency in material and logistics processes.
