This article examines the theoretical and practical foundations of pedagogical diagnostics of students’ social activity. The study analyzes the importance of identifying, evaluating, and developing students’ social engagement within the educational process. Special attention is paid to diagnostic methods such as observation, questionnaires, interviews, and monitoring. The research highlights that pedagogical diagnostics contributes significantly to the development of students’ social responsibility, leadership abilities, teamwork, and civic competencies. The article also discusses the role of modern pedagogical technologies in improving the effectiveness of educational and teaching processes.
